Share Your Holidays to
Eliminate Hunger 2005
...Celebrates its 10th anniversary.
And, it's the year that, with your help, we will top 10 million meals
raised since the campaign began.
The need for your help not only
continues, but has increased. The poverty rate in
Wisconsin is the highest it has been in 10 years.
In this state, tens of thousands of
children and adults go to bed hungry every night. Food,
along with clothing and shelter, are the most basic of human needs,
and yet many truly do not know were their next meal is coming from.
When you help us raise meals during
this campaign, you give hope to thousands of people who are distracted
in their daily routines - whether it is at school, work or
home--because they are hungry and physically and emotionally stressed
to secure food. By providing meals and raising awareness of
hunger, we can make a difference in our neighbors' lives.
Help us raise meals to ensure that in
this land of plenty, all people have enough food to fill their plates
and nourish their lives.
Congratulations to Mark Gustafson and Camee Compton
who won the Hawaiian Cruise!
Special thanks to Mayor Clauder for drawing the lucky winners names!

Sales & Marketing
Executives of Madison (SME Madison) is pleased to announce
the 2004 Executive of the Year...Robert C. Gorsuch,
President of Oak Bank
Although many of the nominees from across
Dane County displayed noteworthy talent, Bob's leadership
and connection to people made the selection committee look
to him as the executive most deserving of this award. He
has shown great determination throughout his career. As a
bank president for nearly 25 years, Bob discovered his own
personal potential when he set out to launch a new bank in
the Madison area and in turn, helped strengthen and enhance
Fitchburg's identity as a vibrant place to live, work and
play. He treats his customers and staff like family, even
at the bank where the smell of warm cookies makes you feel
at home. He is committed to the community and has remained
extremely successful in the ever-changing banking industry.
"We couldn't be more thrilled to announce
Bob Gorsuch as our 2004 Executive of the Year. Bob was a
natural choice because he embodies the ideals of Sales &
Marketing Executives of Madison--commitment to our industry
and commitment to the community. His reputation, civic
achievements, professional accomplishments and personal
approach make Bob an executive we can all look up to."
--Christin Miller, Vice President of SME Madison. For more

The
Boys And Girls
Club of Dane County New Allied Branch
Mission:
To inspire and enable all young people, especially
those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize
their full potential as productive, responsible and
caring citizens, through structured programs in a
safe environment.
How You
Can Help: After many years, the
residents of Allied-Dunn's Marsh are frustrated with
living in Madison's most challenged neighborhood.
They are clamoring for change and, admirably, want
to participate in a revitalization of the area
rather than simply move away. We need to capitlize
on this desire and faciliatate change in one of our
community's last troubled spots. With your
partnership, the new Boys & Girls Club Allied Branch
will play a major role in providing hope and
opportunities for young people and their families to
break negative neighborhood cycles and flourish as
leaders.
Cost: $6,250,000
Money raised to date: $2,981,350 In addition,
they have applications that would bring in $1.9
million over five years in public funding.
Building Space: 20,000 square feet. The
building will be able to serve the 1,100 families is
this neighborhood with after-school youth
programming along with dedicated space for adult

mail in your gift today!
